The Dave Morman Scholarship is pleased to announce it is accepting applications to children of regular full-time, hourly employees who have worked at least one full year for Farmers Union Industries. Any high school senior or college student seeking funding to attend a two or four-year accredited College, University, or Technical School in any area of study.
Through the generosity of the Dave Morman Scholarship Fund several $1,500 scholarships will be awarded in 2023 to assist in covering the cost for tuition and books. Applications are available and accepted through May 31st, 2023.
Dave Morman served our company for almost 30 years, first coming aboard as an Accountant in 1973. Morman was Controller and Treasurer of the company for many years and served six months as interim President.
Over the years Farmers Unions have worked hard to preserve the family farm, save our rural way of life and protect future generations of farmers and ranchers.
Our roots belong to agriculture, and through our philanthropic efforts, we are focused on strengthening our rural communities to save the rural way of life. The partnerships with the five-state Farmers Unions (Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana) will continue to provide the necessary programs of research and education to enhance and develop the future generation of farmers and ranchers.
